Dissatisfied with the direction our lives were taking us, we wanted badly to do something deeper for God. So we googled, “can catholic families be missionaries”? Family Missions Company pulled up and our lives were changed forever.

We are Brad and Rachael Schmitz from St. Paul, MN. We have five energetic kids and one on the way. We are entrepreneurs and homeschoolers, and although we are currently living in Fargo, ND, we are planning on selling everything we own and joining Family Missions Company in Sept., 2018 to spread the gospel and serve the poor. We are creating this blog to journal as well as keep in touch with all our family and friends while we are away.
